Alex's Alliterative Adventures

Thoughts on Programming, Life, and Travel

8 years of haitus

Contrary to popular belief, I’m not dead, I’ve just been going non-stop since I’ve been renationalized. I’ve moved into my new room in London (Ontario [Canada {Earth}]), and I’m living with an awesome new roomie. Why is he awesome? Well, he has kittens:

No, dammit, I said kittens:

Not only that, but he’s a man of character. Any man who starts watching 24 before I go to bed and is still watching it when I leave for work in the morning earns my respect. He also gets points for telling me about ask a ninja.

Work is also unimaginably awesome. I spend every day breaking my brain in the most satisfying way imaginable. I’m surrounded by people who are giants in their field, and I’m trying to soak up as much knowledge as my little brain can handle. Plus, they feed me tacos.

I’ve locked myself in my room for the past two weeks, and I’ve done almost no unpacking to show for it. To reward myself, I spent the weekend crashing in the loo. I definitely think that talking to good friends until the sun rises is my favourite thing ever. The only thing that makes it better is if a guitar somehow becomes involved.

Is the loo English or Canadian? I can imagine you crashing in the English one. I thought that you had time to go to the cinema – Princess or doesn’t that count as a stimulation. Your job sounds rewarding It must feel great to know that there are more intelligent people in the world than you are.The kittens look cute why haven’t you put your tongue out.

The Canadian one has the cinema in it, which makes things a bit more convenient.

I didn’t want to. The kitten would probably bite it off.

I miss everyone in Lund too, I actually have to work here in Canada 😛

We actually passed a law back in 1927 that made being disagreeable punishable by death. Although we’re not allowed to carry firearms, any citizen can publically execute any other citizen at any time if they catch them displaying antisocial tendancies.

We miss you over here! As Annina already mentioned are the new ones very nice as well but filling a hole like yours is a hard job :). By the way: I just added install msn to my to-do list, seems like you are never online in Skype.
It’s great to hear that you like your work, I am waiting for your first computer game to appear 🙂

I miss you guys too. Annina & Nina’s boot photo was sex-tacular, but I didn’t get any Austrian CS buddy lovin’ 🙁

Yeah, almost everyone in Canada exclusively uses msn. It’s a struggle to remember to actually turn it on. If you do msn it up, the gmail is the address to harass.

I’m waiting for it to appear too, but that will take months, and it’s currently slated for ps3/xbox360
